SpeedWatch is a FREEWARE network traffic monitoring tool for Windows 2000 or
higher.
It is compatible with all connection types supported by the operating
system, e.g. (W)LAN, xDSL, ISDN, (cable)modem, Satellite, and even
Bluetooth.
SpeedWatch displays the measured values as a real time diagram distinguishing between uploads and downloads. The diagram can
be scaled automatically, if desired, or defined for a specific connection
type, thus ensuring an efficient data evaluation.
Thus, SpeedWatch allows the user to monitor any data transfer precisely without having to resort to commercial software.
The flexible interface can be adjusted as desired. It supports visual effects like transparency and fading.
Since this is a beta version of SpeedWatch, not all functions have yet been
implemented.

| 08.09.2005 » Stability issues | After the first tests of the new data collection module I realized that it is too inaccurate. Deviations up to 200ms were measured during a very high system load. Furthermore, the module sporadically causes a CPU usage of up
to 80 % on single-processor systems. Both points are rated as critical and have top priority on the to-do list.
The log module passed the beta test and will be implemented into the current version.
